Turn your used expanded polypropylene into new high quality EPP
Expanded polypropylene (EPP) is a highly durable and versatile closed-cell bead foam material that is popular amongst manufacturers in the automotive industry due to its unique range of properties. Not only is EPP completely recyclable and resistant to multiple impact as well as water and chemicals. The foam material is also exceptionally lightweight and can be moulded into various densities and shapes, while having outstanding energy absorption.
In order to get the fullest from the many advantages of expandable polypropylene, KBM has developed an extensive range of quality equipment for recycling of EPP in the most optimum way before reusing it for shape moulding of new foam products.

Extract new value from your used expanded polypropylene
Even though, expanded polypropylene is completely recyclable, the way you actually recycle the used foam material can dramatically increase or decrease how much new value you can extract from it. Put in another way, why discard valuable material that can be reused as the exact same valuable material many times?
The KBM recycling plants are designed to enable you to do just that. Due to their two step/double chamber system, granulation chamber and large screen surface they are capable of breaking expanded polypropylene waste into high quality recycled EPP beads with a high value. Furthermore, they have a form that is congruent with new EPP beads which minimizes the risk of demixing later on in the process after the beads have been metered and mixed.
Cut costs when moulding expanded polypropylene
Due to the high quality of the recycled expandable polypropylene beads it is possible to introduce them at a high ratio in EPP shape moulding products. However, in order to reach the highest possible ratio an accurate metering and mixing of the EPP beads is necessary. To ensure this, KBM has developed the Styromix system for EPP shape moulding manufacturers.
Furthermore, we offer the easy to use Injectorking Vario fillguns that allow you to save energy and cut costs when shape moulding expanded polypropylene. This is possible due to their low air consumption as this feature reduces the need for crack position dramatically. At the same time, the Injectorking Vario fillguns are easy to use and maintain.
