For foam molding manufacturers we provide recycling plants that are capable of breaking most Styrofoam waste down to high-quality recycled foam beads efficiently. The recycling plants all contain an integrated recycling system with a two step/double chamber system and a granulation chamber as well as a large screen surface. This design minimizes most common problems in foam molding productions.
The recycled beads are congruent to new pre-expanded beads. Therefore, they can be added into block molding at a ratio of up to 50 percent by using the KBM Styrometer mixing system. For shape molding the recycled pre-expanded can be added at a ratio of up to 20 percent when using the KBM Styromix system. Thereby, it is possible to regain as much as 90 percent of the initial value of the Styrofoam waste.
